I finally nailed a pullover! It took a few extra cues from one of the team kids. I’ve been working at Olympia Gymnastics since April as the strength and conditioning coach. I don’t have a gymnastics background, but I’ve been able to pick up a lot of stuff from other coaches and even some of the kids. Good times! Next I would like to tackle the back walkover or back handspring. To prepare for the pullover, though, I’ve been practicing an exercise called solid rollover (basically a combination of full range of motion hanging leg raise and pullup that looks like a pullover).
